That's real talk and I wanted to put it in a song as a reminder of all God has done because He's done so much. I hope this song makes you remember all He's done in your life. The most recent song release is "Trust and Obey". "The song was was written by my friend, Gromyko Collins. It is a beautiful song and impacted my heart the moment I heard it. I knew I wanted to sing it because I feel every one of these lyrics. After all, without trust and obedience to the Father, I won’t live the full life God has for me. I want to experience all that He has for me. To be transparent, there’s been many times I have not obeyed and I did not trust Him but God‘s gracious hand helped to build my faith back up when I lost it and wasn’t even sure how to find it. I found it in trusting God and obeying him even when it didn’t make sense to me. So I hope this song reminds you to trust and obey the Father because we can trust Him. He’s trustworthy. He’s got a great track record!."

Her legendary career jump started when Stevie Wonder penned the now classic “Tell Me Something Good” for Chaka when she was lead singer of the R&B, Funk band Rufus in 1974. “A few of the artists are people I met through social media and became a fan of what they do,” divulges Raheem of the eclectic mix of music artists featured on Raheem DeVaughn Presents From Lust Till Dawn. “I [technically] met Brendalynn McKninney through Instagram. I met [704] Bravo in Charlotte at a rehearsal space when I was preparing to go out on tour with Ledisi and Leela James. Attinshun is a group that is actually my band. Georgia Reign’s `Wait On Me’ has been out for a little bit; I feel like it deserved attention. I just want to share my platform for those people who develop soul and R&B…artists and voices that I’m fond of that are new. Or maybe they’re voices that you haven’t heard in a minute. I [just] always wanted to be able to do that.”

"Wait On Me" (Part 1), was inspired by the love and appreciation that I have for 90's R&B and I wanted to reintroduce the new generation to my version of the Donell Jones classic, "Where I Wanna Be", mentions Georgia. The visuals were were exclusively premiered on ThisIsRnB.com and directed by DNA Videos. On "Wait On Me" (Part 2) featuring Raheem DeVaughn, "I just wanted someone who would show up and give me that old R&B vibe, but still talk his shit in a modern way...and that is Raheem ," she adds. "You never know what Part 3 and Part 4 might bring to the masses," Georgia chuckles.

ABOUT GEORGIA REIGN: 
Georgia Reign, born in Atlanta, GA, was raised by a single mother as the oldest of four children. Georgia’s performing skills were fostered early starting from age 6, singing and winning a school talent show in the 2nd grade, while drawn to dance from grade 3 via exposure to ballet, modern, jazz and hip-hop rhythmic forms. Becoming a true performing prodigy by age 12, Georgia was professionally discovered at a local dance contest she won by twisting a challenging down south dance while on skating wheels. She instantly began working as a companion stage dancer for many Atlanta artists. Over the next few years, Georgia’s young dance career flourished, touring the world at age 15 with Bobby Valentino on the BET sponsored “Scream Tour IV” and performing various dates with renowned artist Bobby Brown and yet still graduating early from a college preparatory academy at 16.

While genuinely passionate about dancing, Georgia’s mom constantly pushed her toward singing ultimately leading Georgia to join a promising girl group. Singing with this group would lead to her working closely with the legendary songwriter Babyface. As fate would have it she would take center stage as a front vocalist of the group, putting together her debut album. From these sessions, a friendship with 3-time Grammy Award winning songwriter/producer Adonis Shropshire was born. Deciding the group ultimately was not for her; she took the experience and set out on a solo career. One of the unforeseen “blessings in disguise” was that Adonis recognized her standout talents and rejoined with Georgia as a collaborator on her career soon after the group split. This friendship caused the two to land a Grammy Nomination for the song 2012 on Chris Brown’s Fortune album. During previous recording sessions, Georgia was introduced to Raheem DeVaughn. Raheem became extremely impressed with Georgia’s rich alto-infused vocal ability, fiery spunky energy and tremendously strong work ethic; feeling within her there was an untapped potential for superstardom. What was immediately evident was her talent for telling a story in a way that only she could. Later Georgia would go on to sign to multi-platinum, award winning artist, Neyo as an artist and songwriter. In her songwriting there is a truthfulness and attitude that breathes “struggle and triumph”, and for her, at a very young age. Georgia’s attitude is personified by the “Virgo” in her of beauty and intelligence, a quick-witted complete woman who exerts her female independence with determination and tenacity. BET ANNOUNCES SOUL TRAIN AWARDS AT APOLLO THEATER…

NEW YORK, NY – BET announced the return of the 2021 “Soul Train Awards” from a new location, the World Famous Apollo in New York. For the first time in its 33-year history, the annual celebration will tape in New York City, joining forces with the non-profit Apollo, now in its 88th year and widely considered the soul of American Culture, for one of its first in-person events in 2021. Celebrating the best in soul music and the television show’s 50th anniversary, the "Soul Train Awards” recognizes the best in Soul, R&B, and Hip Hop from both established industry legends and the next generation of promising artists. The 2021 “Soul Train Awards” premieres Sunday, November 28 at 8 pm ET/PT on BET and BET Her.

“Don Cornelius’ brilliant vision created a revolutionary show that became a cornerstone in American culture. The inspiration and concept for “Lessons” came to Eric around 3am on the morning of his 13th wedding anniversary. New York, NY – October 5, 2021 – This year the 2021 BET “HIP HOP AWARDS” brought the hottest names in Hip Hop back to Atlanta, GA for the annual taping. Comedy supergroup 85 South (Karlous Miller, DC Young Fly, and Chico Bean) hosted this year’s awards from The Cobb Energy Centre which premiered on Tuesday, October 5 on BET, BET Her, MTV2 and VH1. Watch an encore airing of the award show Thursday, October 7 at 9 PM ET/PT on BET.

Cardi B and  Megan Thee Stallion ruled the night by jointly snagging three wins each including ‘Song of the Year,’ ‘Best Hip Hop Video’ and ‘Best Collaboration’ for their smash hit “WAP.”  Tyler, The Creator took home two wins for ‘Hip Hop Album of the Year’ and ‘Best Live Performer’ in addition to his “Rock the Bells Cultural Influence Award”presented by LL Cool J.  Jay Z scored double wins in the “Sweet 16: Best Featured Verse”and “Impact Track” for his Nipsey Hussle collaboration “What It Feels Like.” NewcomerYung Bleu was crowned ‘Best New Hip Hop Artist’ while rap sensation Saweetie took home ‘Hustler of the Year.” Music icon Missy Elliott  was voted ‘Video Director of the Year’ and ‘Lyricist of the Year’ went to J. Cole. UK rapper Little Simz took home the ‘Best International Flow’ award.

Young Thug kicked off the night with an explosive performance of “Tick Tock” followed by Gunna with “Too Easy” before coming together with their hit collaboration “Ski.”  Hot new rapper Bia performed her smash single “Whole Lotta Money,” then brought out Atlanta icon Lil Jon for “Bia Bia” to close it out. Baby Keem made his award show debut with “Family Ties.”  Hip Hop sensation Latto brought the house down with a sparkling, high energy performance of “SoufSide” and new song “Big Energy” while Tobe Nwigwe made it a family affair with Fat & Nell on their song “Fye Fye.” Isaiah Rashad performed alongside Doechii & Kal Banx for “Wat U Sed” before ending the set with his solo single “From the Garden.”

The hotly anticipated cyphers were hosted by DJ Hed and featured a bevy of emcees dropping hot sixteens including Grip, D Smoke, Smino, Tierra Whack, Rico Nasty, Sleepy Hallow, Erica Banks, Fivio Foreign, Toosii, Lakeyah, Kidd Kenn and Symba.

Presenters for the evening included a trio of Hip Hop powerhouses Trina, Remy Ma, andRapsody. “I Am Hip Hop Award” recipient Nelly closed out the show with a performance of his greatest hits including “Country Grammar,” “Hot In Herre,” “Air Force Ones,” “Dilemma,” “Grillz” with an appearance by Paul Wall and more.

He is in constant demand by professional and collegiate sports teams, celebrities and leading consumer brands like Coca Cola, Macy’s, and Nike to bring the music to live events. 

Charity is central to who Big Tigger is. He is an active board member of the historic Hosea Helps (4Hosea.org) organization in Atlanta. Additionally, as a member of the 100 Black Men of Atlanta, he mentors a variety of young African American kids.

Rising singer, songwriter, and producer Elijah Thomas has released his banging single, “Toot It”, featuring Kove”.

"TOOT IT", is the official second single from Elijah's upcoming debut album, to be released later this fall. "TOOT IT" was written by Elijah Thomas, Courtlin Jabrae, Sheldon Body Jr. and produced by Tasha Cotour. "It was great vibes and energy from the recording process to the shooting of the video. Eli is super talented and I'm glad we got a chance to merge our creativity," mentions Kove'. The high-energy music video was directed by Slick TwoThree.
