R&B KING ‘RAHEEM DEVAUGHN’ IS BACK WITH NEW SINGLE….

R&B singer, songwriter, producer, and music executive Raheem DeVaughn is back with a new single, and new album for the masses!

"IF I DON'T" is the latest single release from the upcoming album, "RAHEEM DEVAUGHN PRESENTS FROM LUST TILL DAWN", releasing globally on May 6th, via the New Era Soul/SRG-ILS Group label imprint. The album is available for pre-orders now via "Raheem DeVaughn Presents From Lust Till Dawn".

"IF I DON'T" was written by Raheem DeVaughn and produced by Tim Kelley. "The inspiration behind the song came after having numerous conversations with Black women and I realized that they want to be recognized for how they show up in relationships," mentions Raheem. "If I Don't is an introspective record that speaks for women in the third person regarding how they want to be recognized and appreciated by the man in their life," he adds.

I want to be known and have a name for being a contributor to the culture of R&B and soul music,” flatly states R&B lovers’ very own “the Love King,” while clarifying the inspiration behind his soon-to-be-released, stylistically diverse, multi-artist Raheem DeVaughn Presents From Lust Till Dawn set, “not just though my music but it could be through my penmanship, through songs that I write or artists I’ve discovered…not only in the D.C. area, but artists from different parts of the country and the world.” Dependably a “man of his word” often known to practice what he preaches, Raheem’s musically rich “R&B radio show-meets-summer-cookout-mixtape”-themed LP does just that, featuring collaborating artists from his own music tribe (jazz-hop poet/vocalist Wes Felton, R&B-jazz-hip-hop producer/musician Bee Boy$oul, DeVaughn’s tour band Attinshun, alternative soul-rock stylist YahZarah), two promising discoveries encountered via social media (Houston-bred vocalist Brendalynn McKinney, newcomer/Atlanta siren Kristina Ray), a returning 90s song stylist on the comeback (sultry neo-soulstress Grenique) and up-and-coming recording artists Raheem genuinely came across as a music lover himself (singer-rapper 704 Bravo; song stylist Georgia Reign).

A few of the artists are people I met through social media and became a fan of what they do,” divulges Raheem of the eclectic mix of music artists featured on Raheem DeVaughn Presents From Lust Till Dawn. “I [technically] met Brendalynn McKninney through Instagram. I met [704] Bravo in Charlotte at a rehearsal space when I was preparing to go out on tour with Ledisi and Leela James. Attinshun is a group that is actually my band. Georgia Reign’s `Wait On Me’ has been out for a little bit; I feel like it deserved attention. I just want to share my platform for those people who develop soul and R&B…artists and voices that I’m fond of that are new. Or maybe they’re voices that you haven’t heard in a minute. I [just] always wanted to be able to do that.”

Of course, you know we’ve got the new single below for your listening pleasure! Check it out!

ABOUT GEORGIA REIGN
Georgia Reign, born in Atlanta, GA, was raised by a single mother as the oldest of four children. Georgia’s performing skills were fostered early starting from age 6, singing and winning a school talent show in the 2nd grade, while drawn to dance from grade 3 via exposure to ballet, modern, jazz and hip-hop rhythmic forms. Becoming a true performing prodigy by age 12, Georgia was professionally discovered at a local dance contest she won by twisting a challenging down south dance while on skating wheels. She instantly began working as a companion stage dancer for many Atlanta artists. Over the next few years, Georgia’s young dance career flourished, touring the world at age 15 with Bobby Valentino on the BET sponsored “Scream Tour IV” and performing various dates with renowned artist Bobby Brown and yet still graduating early from a college preparatory academy at 16.

While genuinely passionate about dancing, Georgia’s mom constantly pushed her toward singing ultimately leading Georgia to join a promising girl group. Singing with this group would lead to her working closely with the legendary songwriter Babyface. As fate would have it she would take center stage as a front vocalist of the group, putting together her debut album. From these sessions, a friendship with 3-time Grammy Award winning songwriter/producer Adonis Shropshire was born. Deciding the group ultimately was not for her; she took the experience and set out on a solo career. One of the unforeseen “blessings in disguise” was that Adonis recognized her standout talents and rejoined with Georgia as a collaborator on her career soon after the group split. This friendship caused the two to land a Grammy Nomination for the song 2012 on Chris Brown’s Fortune album. During previous recording sessions, Georgia was introduced to Raheem DeVaughn. Raheem became extremely impressed with Georgia’s rich alto-infused vocal ability, fiery spunky energy and tremendously strong work ethic; feeling within her there was an untapped potential for superstardom. What was immediately evident was her talent for telling a story in a way that only she could. Later Georgia would go on to sign to multi-platinum, award winning artist, Neyo as an artist and songwriter. In her songwriting there is a truthfulness and attitude that breathes “struggle and triumph”, and for her, at a very young age. Georgia’s attitude is personified by the “Virgo” in her of beauty and intelligence, a quick-witted complete woman who exerts her female independence with determination and tenacity. A lover of tattoos, one of her pieces of art is quoted from her biggest musical influencer, Michael Jackson, “I’m never pleased with anything, I’m a perfectionist. It is part of who I am.” Georgia Reign’s list of those who inspire her also include TLC, 112, Jagged Edge, Outkast, Lil Kim, and Kanye West

Utilizing her rich Atlanta, GA accent, she allows passion to pour out of every note that she hits to complement her lyrical directness. Reflecting back to her name, Georgia Reign’s style is just that. She encompasses the best of everything that Atlanta, GA is. One look at Georgia reveals a super sultry beauty coated by smooth blended mahogany skin shaped over an athletically built body that aides in an unbridled power of movement and voice. Georgia exudes red-hot sexiness with a fashion style of thigh-high boots, platform heels, bad ass kicks, curvy accentuating jeans and bold, daring hairstyles to boot. If this storied beginning is any indication of what is to come, then I think it would be accurate to say that in this case we can’t wait for the “REIGN”.

Multi-Award Winning Singer-Songwriter-Producer, Eric Roberson Releases Emotional "Lessons" (Remix) featuring Anthony Hamilton, Raheem DeVaughn, and Kevin Ross…

Eric Roberson is back with the remix of his smash single, "LESSONS" from featuring ANTHONY HAMILTONRAHEEM DEVAUGHN and KEVIN ROSS.

"LESSONS(REMIX) was written by Eric RobersonAnthony HamiltonRaheem DeVaughn and Kevin Ross and produced by Anikan & Vader and Jairus Mozee. (Quote - Inspiration behind the song). "LESSONS" is lifted from Eric Roberson's anticipated forthcoming 14th studio album, entitled "LESSONS". The album will be released in January, 2022, via the B.L.U.E. ERRO SOUL label imprint.

"LESSONS" (REMIX) received its exclusive First Listen on RollingOut.com. "With over 20 years in the game as an independent artist, Roberson is rightfully celebrating a worthy milestone and his new release, “Lessons,” is a fitting entry for a resume worth its weight in platinum," mentions N. Ali Early, Senior Editor of RollingOut.com.

The inspiration and concept for “Lessons” came to Eric around 3am on the morning of his 13th wedding anniversary. Eric was sitting in his studio feeling rather creative and as he was reflecting over his life, he started working on an idea that would soon become the song, "Lessons.” He posted 60 seconds of the song online and then went to bed. What Eric woke up to, was the biggest reaction he has received from his music in years: thousands of his fans downloaded the snippet of the song. “God has a funny way of showing you lessons. Often times, we feel good about a release, but rarely do we have the luxury of knowing ahead of time that it works,” says Eric.

"With the remix, I didn’t want to just get three of my favorite singers, I also wanted three of my favorite writers. I’m honored to get their perspectives on the ups and downs of love and how it all leads us to where we are supposed to be," mentions Roberson.

Raheem DeVaughn adds, “For sometime it’s been on my vision board to be in a Soulful R&B super-group with both Anthony, Eric and Dwele, the only thing missing after this remix is a follow-up album, LOL! Hearing Kevin Ross on the remix is breathe of fresh air he’s definitely one of the new millennium King’s killing the game for the future of soul & r&b“.

"I'm honored to be on the Lesson Remix with such seasoned vets in the game. Each artist's perspective and approach on this record is different, which makes it exciting to listen to. Eric is a mastermind in how he put this together," shares Kevin.
