Born Michael Anthony Bell II in Decatur, Georgia, Bell began his career in Dallas comedy clubs before relocating to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting and comedy. Shortly after his move, Bell won the StandUp NBC diversity talent search and signed a development deal with the network.
After acting in a number of shorts, Bell went on to land a recurring role on the VH1 series "Single Ladies" and was soon cast in the comedy series "Whitney." Bell continued to work on his comedy acts and made appearances on "Creepy Caress" and "Key & Peele." Over the years, Bell has been seen on "Love You, Mean It with Whitney Cummings," "The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson," "Mind of a Man" and "Chelsea Lately."
Tone Bell currently stars as Russell, Mitch's (Mark-Paul Gosselaar) best friend, neighbor and husband to Angie (Bresha Webb). He is a stand-up comic and has no fear when it comes to talking to someone or making a scene to prove his point in NBC's new comedy "Truth Be Told."
Bell's most recent projects include NBC's "Bad Judge", NBC's "Whitney" and Host of MTV's "Jerks With Cameras".
